Eero Lehtovaara – ABB Oy

As a Master Mariner, Eero has a deep understanding of vessels and operators. He has a broad experience in the marine industry, and has managed operations both onboard vessels and on the shore side. With his international and multilingual operations background, he efficiently communicates the ABB Marine strengths to customers. Eero is responsible for the continuous communication to classification societies and main stakholders. Completed ABB’s Senior Leadership Development Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne.

Tommi Pettersson – Cargotec

Tommi Pettersson has 25 years of experience from areas of international business, sales, business development, product management, product development and leading multicultural, multi disciplined global teams. Tommi holds Master of Science (Engineering) and Master of Science (Economics) degrees. He joined Cargotec in 2014 and has been working in different leadership roles in the area of automation, product development, software development and R&D.
In his current position Tommi Pettersson Leads Cargotec’s Digital Solution Hub, which is providing together with Cargotec Strategic Business Units digital solutions to Cargotec’s customers. He is passionate about helping maritime and logistics industry move towards smarter, more profitable and sustainable logistics through digitalisation, data and optimized cargo flows.

Sanna Sonninen – Finnpilot

Ms. Sanna Sonninen is a Master Mariner and holds a Master of Science degree in Maritime Engineering from Aalto University. Before starting as a research scientist and project manager at VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland, in 2001, Sanna worked onboard Finnish merchant ships tankers and ROPAX ships as an officer for almost 10 years. She has also worked as a Development Manager at the Finnish Maritime Administration and as a Director at the Finnish Transport Safety Agency, with responsibilities in maritime issues, aviation, road, and railroad safety. In 2017 Ms. Sonninen was appointed Pilotage Director of the state-owned pilotage company Finnpilot Pilotage Ltd and the CEO of the Ice Advisors Ltd, a company assisting shipmasters on vessels navigating in icy conditions. She is a Doctoral Researcher at the Aalto University Research group on Safe and Efficient Marine and Ship Systems.

Matti  Vakkuri – Haltian

Matti Vakkuri is Head of Research Operations at Haltian. He has previously worked for Tieto being responsible for example for Industrial Internet and Big Data.

Anton Westerlund – Kongsberg

Anton Westerlund is currently holding a Vice President position at Kongsberg Maritime, leading the Remote Operation Solutions department, focused on technology and product development meeting the needs for remote operation of ships and other floating assets. He has been involved in the development of remote and autonomous technology since 2017, holding various managerial positions in the technical and commercial domain. Anton is a graduate from the Maritime Academy in Turku, Finland with almost a decade of seagoing experience in various officer positions on different ship types.

Lauren Lamm – Sea Machines Robotics

Lauren Lamm is the VP of Business Operations and leads the autonomous test program at Sea Machines Robotics, a Boston, Ma- based company that is developing autonomous control and situational awareness technology for the maritime industry. Lauren is a mariner by trade and sailed in the Gulf of Mexico before joining Sea Machines in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation, Master of Science degree in Maritime Business Management and a Master Unlimited Tonnage/Oceans license.
